Photographs released of MD Paul Headon's private collection of diecast models!

During these days of enforced seclusion life has altered drastically for many people, including MD of Brushwood Toys, Paul Headon.  He has found himself recalling life on the farm as a child and the influences that lifestyle had on his interests and hobbies.

Paul has begun a journey of rediscovery as he set about digging out all his farm toys that were carefully put into the family attic by his mother!  Amassed during the 1970's and 1980's the collection is predominantly Britains, as for many years they were the only manufacturers producing this type of model.  Ertl, Corgi and Dinky also feature.

Paul cites as some of his favourites, the Britains’ Ford TW20, Ford 6600, Deutz 110 and a super little Ertl David Brown 1690 (much loved despite it having no rear linkage!) The Corgi David Brown 1412 with JF combine has always been admired on the workshop shelf along with a very rare MF Powerparts TE20 with plough (a pity these were not 1:32 scale!). Lastly, Paul is particularly fond of his 1:64th scale Ertl tractors, especially the International 1086!

The whole collection has been cleaned and carefully arranged on Brushwood Toys' permanent studio diorama layout, to create an extended photo gallery that Paul thought his customers might like to take a look at.  To showcase this extensive collection we have built a special section on the website to house the collection, so click on the link and we hope that you will enjoy all his hard work.

We hope you enjoy the galleries and please do stay safe.
