Standard Carriage Prices

Transit times are all in working days.

Orders must be placed by 2PM weekdays.

We use DHL for all our deliveries to the UK, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and all other European countries.

We have introduced a set of carriage charges to try to ensure that you have the best choice of options for the type of order that you are placing. The list below explains the default shipping charges, and a drop down menu at Checkout will allow you to manually chose an option that may suit you best, based on your location and the services offered there by our carrier.

Please note that if a carriage rate option is not shown then we are not currently shipping to your destination country and some areas of the UK are only served by certain services; i.e. 24hr delivery is not available to northern Scotland - restrictions apply; see DHL map HERE

UK Rates

a) 2-3 day First Class un-tracked by Royal Mail at £3.95 (available on certain qualifying products & orders, options for which will be shown at checkout, unless weight or size of items prevents it/them being sent by this service). Order deadline is 2pm weekdays. This service is untracked, however delivery attempts are recorded.

b) 3-4 day Evri Service (available on certain qualifying products & orders, options for which will be shown at checkout, unless weight or size of items prevents it/them being sent by this service). Order deadline is 2pm weekdays.

c) Tracked 2 working day service by DHL/DX Express at £4.95 (available on all order values) Order deadline is 2pm weekdays.

d) Tracked 1 working day service by DHL/DX Express at £5.95 (available on all order values) Order deadline is 2pm weekdays - restrictions apply; see DHL map HERE

e) Tracked Saturday service by DHL at £29.95 (available on all order values) Order deadline is 2pm Fridays - only available to certain post codes; see DHL map HERE

f) 1-2 day, 48hr, pre-noon and Saturday services via UPS are also available - For rates please see checkout

DHL/DX Express services are at the discression of Brushwood Toys

Despatches take place on Mon-Fri only, with Saturday not classed as a working day. Please note: Some UK post codes can take significantly longer than the service paid for; e.g. a 24 hour service may take 2-3 working days due to transit times to outlying areas.

Checkout will automatically choose the cheapest service for you if applicable - in addition you can then choose a tracked service if you wish.

Please note that transit times are in weekdays only and we do not deliver on Saturdays (unless that service is chosen), Sundays or Bank Holidays. All deliveries are dependent solely on the carrier once the goods have left our premises. Delivery to some UK post codes can take significantly longer than the service paid for; e.g. a 24 hour service may take 2-3 working days due to outlying areas. If you use your mobile number as your main contact number then tracking information and delivery advice will be sent to your mobile.

PLEASE NOTE THESE SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS:

Drivers will leave goods in a safe place or with a neighbour if the recipient is out. Customers have other delivery options such as changing date or address, available via the tracking service.

Courier drivers will make 2 delivery attempts at their discretion, if they can’t deliver then they will take the consignment back to the depot and write to the consignee asking them to make contact to re-arrange delivery (only applicable to certain services). The delivery can be re-scheduled or re-directed by the customer via the tracking service. After a period of time the parcel is returned to Brushwood Toys and will require a further shipping charge to re-deliver to the customer. We have an excellent relationship with our carrier so please do contact us if you have any questions.

Northern Ireland:
First Class Post: £3.95 (please refer to First Class mail description under 'UK Rates')

Tracked service at: £7.95 - Orders must be placed by 2pm weekdays for the order to leave us that same day. Orders over £25 will default to the tracked service to NI. Estimated transit time is 2-3 working days.

Republic of Ireland

On a minimum order value of £60 (€70 approximately) we are charging £14.95 carriage plus £4.95 document charges and any applicable duty which will all be applied at checkout - Shipping takes approximately 4-7 working days and orders must be placed by 2pm weekdays for the order to leave us that same day. Delivery schedules are subject to customs delays.

The terms on carriage for these orders is for shipping only; the customer being responsible for any import costs. There is a minimum order value of £60GBP on all orders outside the UK.

The purpose of these charges is to cover post-Brexit customs costs and get the order delivered to the customer's door without any further charges being due. They are not intended to increase our revenue!

Shipping rates to areas outside the UK

ALL ORDERS ARE SUBJECT TO A MINIMUM ORDER VALUE OF £60 (€70 apprx.) AND DOCUMENT PROCESSING FEES OF £4.95 (SUBJECT TO CHANGE). Carriage, document charges and import duty will be calculated at checkout for you (except Zones 8 & 9). The basic shipping rates are as follows:
